La Bamboche Patisserie

I first discovered La Bamboche from browsing through Flickr, searching for a picture of Mont Blanc. When I saw their cakes, I immediately fell in love. It was like love at first sight! La Bamboche is the reason why I fell in love with patisseries and began searching for patisseries in the city. It’s like a first love that you’ll never forget :)
I got several Macarons, Mont Blanc, Green Tea Sesame Mousse, Cassis Earl Grey, and Opera. Every cake had its own uniqueness and were perfect in their own little way. The Mont Blanc had rum in the chestnut cream and I got a little red from eating it ;) The Green Tea was ridiculously rich and strong; it almost seemed as if I was drinking matcha tea. So yes, it’s a good thing! The Cassis had such an exploding, sour flavour; it was like a party in my mouth! The earl grey component was also very rich and I could really taste the tea. Opera is made of espresso and chocolate. The flavour isn’t as awe as the others but it was delicious and not overly sweet. I don’t know what else to say but the majority of my love goes towards La Bamboche <3
