Luma is located in the new TIFF Bell Lightbox building by King Street W & John. I’ve tried O&B Canteen right below it, so I decided to go with Luma for a Sunday brunch. I don’t remember which smoothie I ordered, but they brought me the wrong drink. The one in the photo is a Ginger Lemonade. I found it ridiculously sour and didn’t think it was worth the $6. I chose Eggs Benedict on a croissant ($12) because I’m a huge fan of eggs benedict; gotta love them running eggs! It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t amazing. My friend Sue got the Sausages with mustard ($4) and an Omelette with spinach ($14). Even though the place had an upscale atmosphere, I think their menu is fairly overpriced, especially for the portions that we were getting. I must say I really liked the grainy mustard though, haha.

After brunch, I parted with Sue and walked over to Queen Street West in search of a nice, cute patisserie. I went to Clafouti which is right across from Trinity Bellwoods Park. I had a Hot Cocoa and a Fig Croissant. The place is extremely tiny, but man are their croissants and tarts divine! I’m looking forward to my next visit already, haha ;)
