A few months ago, June to be exact (lol), I asked my brother to bring back a box of ‘lette macarons from Beverly Hills in L.A. With “macarons” in their name, you’ve guessed it; that’s the only thing they sell. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to visit their fancy shop, but I was lucky enough to sample a dozen of their delicious macarons!
Their flavours range from the popular salted caramel, to the fragrant rose, to the refreshing lychee. After trying them all, I must say these flavours stood out most for me: Colombian coffee, Madagascar vanilla, and Carribean chocolate. It’s always interesting how the classic flavours are the most memorable. But of course, I could obviously tell that they use premium ingredients. And combine that with a high level of baking technique? The results are bound to be quite extraordinary.

I enjoyed each and every one of these morsels of sweetness, although I found chewiness to be lacking aside from the salted caramel one. But nonetheless, I found ‘lette macarons to be very, very good. As for the presentation? They’re nothing short of perfection.
